Every year I tell myself it will be different, but procrastination always wins out. But Christmas will come whether I’m ready or not.
When I focus on the true meaning of Christmas, all those other things start to feel not so important. Every gift might not be wrapped perfectly; my house might not look Pinterest-worthy.
But I WILL celebrate the One who came, the One who has given me more grace than I deserve, who loves me even on my most unloveable days.
I’ll spend Christmas cherishing every one of my family members, I’ll hug them tight, and I’ll treasure every moment. That my friends will make this Christmas perfect for me.
